Input Clear

Have you ever had an experience where you typed something in an input field, but then wanted to erase it all and start fresh? Well, the "Input Clear" function allows you to easily clear the text in an input field by clicking on a button or icon.

How to Implement Input Clear Functionality

To implement the input clear functionality, you can add a button or icon next to the input field. When the user clicks on the button or icon, it will clear the text in the input field. Here's an example:

Enter Your Name:    Clear

function clearInput() {
  document.getElementById("inputField").value = "";
}

In this example, we have an input field with an id of "inputField". We also have a button with an onclick event that calls the "clearInput" function. The "clearInput" function uses JavaScript to get the element with the id "inputField" and sets its value to an empty string.

Other Ways to Implement Input Clear Functionality

Another way to implement input clear functionality is by adding a "clear" icon inside the input field itself. When the user clicks on the icon, it will clear the text in the input field. Here's an example:

Enter Your Email:

function clearInput2() {
  document.getElementById("inputField2").value = "";
}

In this example, we have an input field with an id of "inputField2". We also have a font awesome icon with an onclick event that calls the "clearInput2" function. The "clearInput2" function uses JavaScript to get the element with the id "inputField2" and sets its value to an empty string.

Both methods work effectively to allow users an easy way to clear input fields. Now you can add input clear functionality to your website or application!
